I’m going to show you the best ways to make absolutely beautiful and realistic looking AI models.
AI Models — by Andrew Best of AI Growth Guys
Generative AI has absolutely changed the game with the ability to create realistic looking models (of any race, gender, size, etc) in seconds.
If you want to know exactly what I used for my prompts, put your email in here and I’ll show you everything.
I’ve been playing around and experimenting with how to create the best looking AI models — like the ones above.
I created the 3 models above for free, and within seconds.
I first tried Dalle — 3 from Open AI. I wasn’t impressed for 2 reasons.
With Dalle, I used the same prompt I used with one of the models above. I got this result:
The first problem is that Dalle 3 doesn’t seem as good as some other image generators for being realistic. This photo looks very “AI” to me.
The second problem is that their “safety” settings are too strict in my opinion. I had to alter my prompt twice to get this to work.
I know Midjourney gets a lot of praise — well deserved — but I didn’t want to use it for this experiment because it costs money. I’m looking for the best free ways to make AI models.
Here are my 2 personal recommendations for making AI models for free:
1. Leonardo.ai
You get 150 credits per day for free. If you use your prompts wisely, that is quite generous.
For 12 credits, you can generate 4 images for each prompt. (You can change the number of images per prompt, but I use 4 at a time so I get a good range).
If you go to Leonardo, you can sign up for a free account easily with your Google account (If you don’t have a Google account, there are other ways).
Note: If you want the exact prompt I used to make these models, put your email in here and I’ll send you the prompts for free.
The Leonardo photos look great, but the free account is limited.
2. Fooocus AI
This way seems unlimited in terms of how many photos you can generate for free.
Edit: It is possible to run out of compute units, but Google lets you buy more. You do get quite a few for free though, however.
This works with Google Colab. It is very easy to use, so don’t worry. You don’t need to use any code at all.
It looks like this:
I’ve circled in yellow both the connect button and the run button.
First you click the connect button and wait for it to connect.
Then you click the “run” button. This takes about 5 minutes to load.
Then after that you click on a link, and it takes you to where you need to go to generate the AI models.
I’ll give you an exact step by step tutorial of how to do this if you put your email in here
I think it is great to use both Fooocus and Leonardo. I use both all the time.
You need to practice your prompting skills to generate what you are looking for.
Another thing I like to do is use AI to edit my AI models!
I have a paid Canva account (16 bucks a month). I use Canva all the time, so it is well worth it for me. There are other free editing tools out there, but I like how many features Canva has.
For the AI models I generated, I removed the backgrounds so they would fit nicely in one image, like the one with the 3 ladies at the top of this article.
In Canva, you just click “edit photo” and “BG remover”. Here is what one of my models looked like before removing the background.
This is a nice image with the background, but it is nice to be able to remove it, or I wouldn’t be able to put all 3 models in the same image.
I like to be able to use these in custom ways, for example, on a YouTube thumbnail. So the ability to remove the background is essential.
I also use the “magic expand” feature in Canva. This uses AI to generate more of the image. For example, with the Asian model in the top photo, I used the magic expand editing feature to generate most of her blue skirt. The original image was cut off above that point.
If you want to make yourself look like a model, I reviewed a tool I love here. I use that for my headshots for LinkedIN for example.
Here is what I look like (before and after) with that AI tool.
